A pilot deployment of the Reipower AI platform at a large commercial facility identified multiple previously undetected operational inefficiencies across the central cooling plant. Implementation of the recommended measures led to a 30% reduction in cooling energy consumption, demonstrating strong, measurable impact from AI-driven diagnostics.
The project was recognized as the AEE – Innovative Project of the Year (Canada Region, 2022) and presented at the AEE World Energy Conference in Atlanta, USA. It also received the BOMA Toronto CREST Innovative Excellence Award (2022), highlighting its contribution to advancing intelligent building operations.
In parallel, the initiative was awarded competitive funding through the Ontario Centre of Innovation (OCI) 5G ENCOR Program, along with support from the VentureLab Accelerate AI program and selection for funding by Scale AI (Canada), reinforcing validation from leading clean-tech and AI innovation ecosystems.
